Ahead of the July 14 governorship election in Ekiti state, civil servants on Friday, July 13, allegedly started receiving cash deposit alert of N3,000 as stipend from the Ekiti state government.
According to a Twitter user identified as @cbngov_Akin1 and another Facebook user, Maiyegun’s Diary Live, Governor Ayo Fayose allegedly credited the account of workers in the state, to encourage them to vote in Saturday’s elections.
It was also alleged that Fayose last paid Ekiti state civil servants their salaries in December 2017.
