In a bid to curb air pollution, drivers in Rivers State with vehicles emitting smoke will now be arrested and made to pay a fine when detected.

In an 8-point communique issued at the end of a meeting between the SA to Gov. Wike on Pollution Control, Nwuke Anucha & PH Air Quality Working Group, a device that reads & monitors vehicular emission is currently with the FRSC for test running.
